Why “United for Ethics in Sport”?

Existing global sports federations and organizations struggle to address ethical issues in sports. The main reason for this is that, due to their organizational structure, these associations have virtually no executive leadership capacity (for example, the Olympic Committee, the Russian doping scandal, FIFA, and the Caribbean and African nations). In other words, global associations cannot truly control ethical behavior in certain countries.

Ethics in sports begins at an early age (starting at age 6). And ethics in sports can therefore only be brought to life as a mass movement by the athletes themselves.

Amateur and professional athletes are invited to participate.

Together for more ethics in sports. Amateur and professional athletes from all over the world can join this social media community. While this page provides athletes with general and up-to-date information on ethics in sports, the Facebook page “United for Ethics in Sport” invites athletes to discuss and share their thoughts on the topic of ETHICS IN SPORTS.
